The Eberswalde municipal administration has been training administrative assistants (m/f/d) in the field of local administration and animal keepers (m/f/d) in the field of zoo animals for many years. Since 2020, the training occupation of road maintenance worker (m/f/d) has also been offered and since 2021 that of gardener (m/f/d) specialising in gardening and landscaping.

New from the 2022 training year are the part-time training programme to become a state-recognised educator (m/f/d) and the dual study programmes Public Administration Brandenburg and Administrative Informatics Brandenburg.

If required, fire chiefs are also trained who are in the civil service on revocation during their training.

The application procedure

Please only submit your application documents if a corresponding job advertisement has been published and adhere to the deadlines. This will increase the chances of your application being considered.

You should enclose at least a CV and your last two school reports. If you are not yet 18 years old, you should also submit proof of your initial medical examination in accordance with § 32 (1) of the Youth Labour Protection Act. However, this can also be done later during the application process. You will find more detailed information on what else should be submitted in the relevant job advertisement text itself.

The selection process

As soon as the application deadline has passed, the application documents are reviewed by various people or committees. This can take several weeks.

After reviewing the application documents, further steps are usually taken in the selection process. These may include a sports test, an (online) selection test or at least an interview.
