Saturday 8 March 2025 was a festive day at the Eberswalde Family Garden Tourism Centre. Once again, the conference hall there was the venue for the city of Eberswalde's volunteer awards. Accompanied by a cultural programme, this time a total of 16 Eberswalde residents and 2 associations were honoured. The awards were presented in 4 categories: "Cohesion, social commitment and community", "Urban society and urban development", "Commitment for all generations" and "Lifetime achievement".
