13. Eberswalde citizens' budget: suggestions wanted!
The hot phase for this year's citizens' budget was heralded at Eberswalde's citizens' reception.
"For the 13th time, we are calling on all Eberswalde residents to submit ideas for our city to the citizens' budget. So far, a total of €1,150,000.00 has been invested in the design of our city of Eberswalde based on numerous suggestions," says Maik Berendt, treasurer of the city of Eberswalde.
Proposals for the 13th citizens' budget, which will be voted on at the "Day of Decision" on 7 September 2024, can still be submitted until 30 June 2024.
"There will be a change to the voting venue this year. The 'Day of Decision' 2024 will be held in the city centre. This year, the vote on the Eberswalde citizens' budget will take place in the Paul Wunderlich House," the treasurer explains. This will not change the time slot for the vote. As usual, votes can be cast on site between 10 am and 6 pm. As in previous years, it will be possible to vote online in advance.
But first, we have until 30 June 2024 to collect ideas, submit proposals and help shape the development of our city.
