Brief info
The bowling alley facility is housed in the sports function building of the Fritz Lesch Stadium. The facility, which has a total of four lanes suitable for competitions and an anteroom, was built in 2002 as a replacement for the bowling alley facility in Weinbergstraße. The facility, like the one in the Westend Stadium, is home to the city's bowlers for training and competitions.

Brief info
Until 1945, the site served as the Ardelt factory owner's garden. Afterwards, a Soviet army detachment took up position here to supervise the dismantling of parts of the Ardelt works that were important for armaments. in 1951, the Westend Stadium was opened and handed over to the BSG Stahl Eberswalde football club. It was named after the neighbourhood of the same name. Today, the Westendstadion is the home ground of the Brandenburg football league club FV Preussen Eberswalde e. V. The following sports facilities are available to sports enthusiasts on an area of 41,315 square metres:
- two large natural grass pitches
- a large synthetic turf pitch
- one circular running track (turf surface)
- two long jump facilities
- a shot put facility
- a volleyball court
The synthetic turf pitch, which was extensively renovated in 2016, has a floodlight system that was renewed in 2020 and converted to LED lighting.

The Finow forest sports facility was created in 1982 and was completely renovated from 2019 to 2021 and developed into a sports facility for many different user groups, especially for individual athletes.

The city of Eberswalde operates three stadiums, four sports fields, three gymnasiums and sports halls, two bowling alleys and two boathouses. These sports facilities are managed directly by the town or by the sports clubs using them on the basis of contractual arrangements. Please note our application deadlines:
The application for regular use must be submitted by 30 June of each year for the following school year.
For individual events, we generally expect applications to be submitted at least two weeks before the date of the event (competitions or similar).
In the case of special events (e.g. sports festivals, cultural events, etc.), we would be pleased to receive the application at least eight weeks before the intended use.
