Welcome Centre Eberswalde
Advice service for people with a history of migration & Welcome Centre
The city of Eberswalde offers a free counselling service for people with a history of migration, regardless of their origin or residence status, who have questions, need guidance and individual support. In particular, the focus here is on support with integration into work (including the promotion of women), but also other topics such as education, family, social participation, health and housing.
The plan is to set up a municipal Welcome Centre, which will also set itself the task of building a stable network in order to establish a structured welcoming culture in Eberswalde. The aim is also to create links with local companies in order to facilitate access for international skilled workers and people with a history of migration.
The "Welcome-Center Eberswalde" project is funded by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Energy of the State of Brandenburg and the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) with funds from the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the State of Brandenburg as part of the EU-funded "Welcome to Brandenburg" programme.
