Preliminary election results for the run-off election of the full-time mayor of the city of Eberswalde
The provisional results for the run-off election for the full-time mayor of the city of Eberswalde can be viewed from 6 pm onwards at here can be called up.
34,470 people were eligible to vote in Eberswalde for the mayoral run-off election on 3 April 2022. More than 4,400 of these eligible voters applied for a polling card to take part in the election by postal vote. The city of Eberswalde was divided into 37 electoral districts. On average, there were 932 eligible voters per polling district, with polling district 33 Spechthausen being the smallest with 191 eligible voters and polling district 2 in the Westend sports centre being the largest with 1,210 eligible voters. On election Sunday, 317 people volunteered as poll workers.
Run-off election for mayor in Eberswalde
On Sunday, 3 April 2022, the run-off election for the office of mayor will take place in Eberswalde.
In the election of the Mayor of Eberswalde on 13 March 2021, Götz Herrmann (SPD/BfE electoral alliance, 28.2%) and Christian Mehnert (CDU, 21.7%) received the most votes, but neither candidate received more than half of the valid votes cast. A run-off election was therefore necessary.
For the mayoral run-off election on 3 April 2022, 37 polling stations will be open in Eberswalde from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The results will be published on the Internet from 6 pm on the evening of the election on www.eberswalde.de and in the foyer of the town hall.
The election committee to determine the official election results will meet publicly on Wednesday, 6 April 2022, 5:30 pm in room 206 of Eberswalde town hall.
